Who's telling the truth? This is probably a question that should be asked of trees. Ashin is a 30-minute documentary about an old woman trying to preserve the village with her ancestral history in the heart of the desert from the process of modernism, although in front of her is an educated young girl who believes that the only way to revive this village is to turn it into an eco-lodge, which means that old woman should leave the village!

A Persian Cohort commissioned project. A series of short films and visual stories about Prospective Epidemiological Research Studies in Iran.

This 30-minute documentary is a portrait of faith; just as well, it could be a portrait of imposture or delusion. The film offers a day in the life of Berry, as he collects the necessary resources to build his shrine for the Imams that visit his dreams weekly, as he feeds the stray dogs of the desert, abandoned by civilization just as he has been.
